a few words from the photographer...

Point Lobos, south of Carmel, is a grand mix of forest, gnarly cypress, cliffs and sea.   The unusual sandstone along the south shore has provided a wealth of artistic form for famous (and not so famous) photographers.   As a teenager in the '60s, I spent a lot of my free time here.

a few technical notes...
Polaroid Type52 4x5 sheet film. 4x5 Calumet view camera on tripod, with 210mm Schneider Symmar lens.   Subject size is about one foot across.
