a few words from the photographer...

Those of us in the "Middle of Nowhere Club" will appreciate this photo.   It was taken on Highway 50 in Nevada.   I did a lot of looking, but didn't see any UFOs.

a few technical notes...
Polaroid Type52 4x5 sheet film. 4x5 Calumet view camera on tripod, with 210mm Schneider Symmar lens.   It was hot, and temperature extremes can cause mottling or weak images.
A red filter was used to darken the blues in the sky.
