a few words from the photographer...

This scene was not posed, nor is it the product of computer graphics.   As a lad of 15, I was 'spooking' around on the fantastic Point Lobos sandstone, when I looked over and saw this scene unfolding.   The nuns seemed to be really enjoying it.

a few technical notes...
No, this isn't a 4x5 Polaroid.   It was made with a 35mm Pentax SLR.   The original negative was exceptionally weak and had to be intensified with highly toxic mecuric chloride.
